Paul Valentin is a Munich based artist and writer. He is currently studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich (sculpture & media).
His work deals with the untranslatable of reality into languages and the resulting subversive potential of things seen as symbols. In many of his ideas he plays with the images of dreams, escapism and it's parallels to the virtual world of the computer.
Mainly active in the area of the video, his works also cover music, performance, photography and sculpture. He has written two books, and composed the album surface’ 2016.
Paul participated in exhibitions at Kunstpavillion Muenchen; the Generate! festival for electronic arts Tuebingen; sound-performance in the church St. Maximilian, video installation at OXO Tower in London.
